How long would it take for Golf In Ohio to create a Virtual Tour for our company?
The time all depends on the project. Typically, after the photoshoot, our developers will require approximately two weeks to complete the Virtual Tour. We have done some virtual tours in a day and others have taken several weeks.
How much does Golf In Ohio charge for a Virtual Tour?
This depends on what the tour will include. We have created tours for as little as $150 and for as much as $5,000.
Why does it take so long to load the panoramic images?
If you are using dial-up, panoramic images take a while to download because of their size. We have developed may lower-quality panoramic images that look nice and do not take quite as long to download; however, our clients have begun to request much higher quality panoramas which result in much larger files to download.
How do you create 3D Panoramic Images
In short, our photographer takes two to eight photographs for each panorama. Each photograph is "Stiched" together using special software. Then, the "Stiched" image is warped to create what is called a "Rectilinear" image. The rectilinear image is manipulated by a Java applet on the web site to produce the panoramic image.
Can I create panoramic images myself?
Of course you can. If you have a good quality digital camera with a wide-angle lense, the right software (available on-line) and some patience, you can create your own panoramas. The quality of the panorama is directly dependent on the quality of your equipment and your ability to manipulate photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Panoramic Tools.
How can I learn to create my own panoramas?
You can find all you need to know on the Web. However, if you are serious about creating your own panoramas, you may want to invest in GolfInOhio.com's "Virtual Tour" booklet. Golf In Ohio has done your research for you and has provided you with years of experience in a simple-to-understand on-line booklet. The booklet contains step-by-step instructions and illustrations. In addition, you are shown where you can get your software, you'll find out what type of equipment is best and you'll be given locations where you can purchase your own panoramic building software for as little as $40 (which is what we use here!).
